This explains what personal information Little Moments Coffee collects, why, and what you can do about it. I collect as little as I can and I don’t sell it.

Who is responsible

Little Moments Coffee Roaster, trading as Little Moments Coffee. Contact: info@littlemomentscoffee.com.

What I collect, and why

  • When you send a message or a trade application: the details you enter, such as your name, email, business and message, so I can reply and set up your account.
  • When you place an order: your name, delivery address, email and order details, so I can send your coffee and keep the records the law requires. Card payments are handled by my payment provider; I don’t see or store your card number.
  • When you join the mailing list: your email address, so I can send the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Who else handles it

I use a small number of services to run the site, and they process information on my behalf:

  • Netlify, which hosts this website and receives form messages.
  • Shopify, for the shop and checkout.
  • Shopify, which also stores the newsletter list and sends the newsletter.
  • An Post, Royal Mail and DPD, to deliver your order.
  • GoCardless, which collects Direct Debit payments for trade accounts.

Some of these companies store information outside the UK. Where they do, they use the legal safeguards required for that.

Cookies

This site uses one essential cookie, to remember what’s in your bag. It doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Shopify’s checkout sets its own cookies, explained in Shopify’s privacy policy.

How long I keep it

  • Messages and applications: up to two years, unless you become a customer.
  • Order records: six years, as required for tax and accounting.
  • Mailing list: until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to how I use it. Email info@littlemomentscoffee.com and I’ll respond within one month. If you’re unhappy with my answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
